Specialist support, built around you

An Independent Domestic Violence Adviser (IDVA) is a trained professional who works specifically with people at high risk of harm from a partner, ex-partner, or family member.

As a qualified IDVA holding the DAPA accreditation, Big Building Foundation provides independent, confidential advice and practical support — helping you understand your options, navigate systems, and make informed choices about your safety and future.

This service is available to adults in all circumstances, whether you are still in a relationship, have recently left, or are trying to make sense of past experiences.
